Ok, I got it
April 2006 Litter.
5 Days.
Maybe black vetbed wasn't the best choice!
Most of the pups eyes are now open, and even the ones that are not fully open are walking around the whelping box. This is where the fun begins... worming, and weaning onto solids is the next stage. Weighing the little people will be more difficult as they can see to climb out of the scales, taking photo's is fun as they walk towards the camera because they can. In a couple of weeks they will be objecting to certain music that we play whilst being videoed for their new owners. What a lot of work we have in store.
We wouldn't change a thing...remind me of the last comment when I am running around like a mad thing when the pups are 5 weeks of age.

Pictured left aged 3 weeks, 3 days. They can now eat soaked mashed dog food (Beta puppy) and can bark (sort of) and run towards us, they often wobble and topple sideways in the process, next week will be very different.
It's a hard life !

The pups are now finding their feet now, and are starting to wrestle with each other. They are now hearing their cd with everyday sounds daily and are taking an interest with things going on around them, they have met our other dogs through the puppy pen in the lounge of course and are looking forward to spending day time in the kitchen with us as well as the lounge and they will then learn lots of new things and will soon gain confidence to explore the patio, all this to come at 5 weeks of age. Lots of visitors still to come and play with the babies, I haven't told anyone yet that aged 6 weeks that pups like to impersonate crocodiles...
5 Weeks of age, the time seems to have flown by. All the babies have a lovely attitude to everything they encounter, a really happy bunch, who certainly enjoy their food. Flynn has been nick named by Hayley "Paris's new mum in a few weeks" .... "The child from hell" he can't help but get into mischief as he finds everything great fun to do as fast as he can. I think he will be great fun to show as he will give it everything.

The best shots of the day, all were very fast moving targets even on padded vet bed, (two duvets underneath), next week we may wait until they are sleepy.
"Problem Child"
Flynn had a few problems fitting into the scales today.
I am misunderstood.
Aged 6 weeks, all the babies passed all their health checks. Our vet commented that checking "Nobite pups" was boring as he couldn't find any thing wrong, I did remind him that at the time he had only checked 3 and he might be a jinx... but all are ok.
Even Flynn was very well behaved....
