The puppies are getting very mobile and today was trying to photograph moving targets, it's only now I remembered that I have a sports mode on the camera, who would have thought that it would be needed at one week of age...
The babies eyes are starting to open and are all gaining weight rapidly. Nail trimming was very straight forward, except Bo who had had enough by foot two. Worming next week will be fun...
We had our toenails trimmed again today so we wouldn't scratch our mum whilst feeding and we had our first dose of wormer... we are all looking forward to trying out solids next week.
Today Sunday 19th Nov 06, our Auntie Bev held a bowl of mashed puppy food for us, we did take advantage, (Tayla walked in the bowl) The rest of us were very good, and even sat nicely in the weighing scales. Brie escaped from our whelping box this morning, so we now have a slightly higher front to our box.
Playpen time.
Some of us have been visited this weekend just gone by our prospective new owners, and some of us have new names too.
We kept our breeder up on Sunday night by rustling and eating newspaper and dragging the vet bed , then pretending to choke on it and of course we all needed to go to the toilet at the same time, so there was a lot of activity in our playpen, an all night party actualy...
